This week at my internship I did percussion sequencing for acapella mixes. For this I layered similar percussion sounds to the  ones in the original to make them feel more full and alive. Although disecting songs was fun, I also found percussion sequencing challenging. This being because songs wouldnt have beats that only had a few variations, but constant variations throughout the whole song. This made the task feel slow, and at times tedious. However by doing this learned how to take a song apart. My internship has shown me how much work it is to be in the music industry, let alone become something big in this industry.
