This week was a fun week. They had me start doing real repairs and test driving cars, as if I were a real mechanic. I did oil changes, brake jobs, and diagnosed cars using the computer and the OBD2 port. Earlier in the internship, I had asked the new mechanic if he wanted lunch, and he said "No, I didn't bring anything today" which I took as he did not want to order anything, so I forgot to order him lunch, and had to run back out and get him something. I would like to get a college degree, but I think that being a mechanic is a very real possibility for my future.
