My name is Janiya Atkins. I am Currently a senior at Concord Carlisle High School, and in my nearby future would like to be a full-time child development major and an Early Education minor. My internship will be held at the David A Ellis Elementary school located in Boston, MA. The school consist of grade levels ranging from kindergarten to 5th-grade students. By involving myself in this company I'd like to make the learning experience fun and proactive for all parties involved, that being the students, the faculty and myself. I'd like to grow a bond with the students there and figure out things that I've wondered. What helps them learn? What are the ways to get them engaged in their learning? and What type of connotations do they get when they think of certain subjects. Whether they be school subjects or everyday issues.
