The most challenging part of my internship has been doing some research for the museum on speaker series. This has been difficult since I don't know much about speaker series or even were to look as to who else hosts speaker series. After one guidance it got easier to research, but the research in general was challenging. The management at the museum is semi-formal. Nothing too over the top at corporate level, but there is a higher level of management that overlooks the success of the museum. I have learned that working for non-profit organizations can be very challenging. Coming up with enough fundraising ideas and donations from donors is very hard and without them the museum would have a difficult time staying open for people to come visit.
