- This week at my internship we completed another spreadsheet where we filed for insurance quotes testing different factors to see how changing one factor would change the price of the quote. The purpose of this was so we could take our results and use them as a baseline for our own product, since we are unsure of what to set our prices at. We also spent time sorting files into filing cabinets for storage. This week, I have developed my skills in teamwork and inquiry. To complete all of these projects, we have to divide up the work and then compare results, and it is really great practice for working as a team. I have also gained a lot of knowledge in the different apps that we have been using, and been able to practice working efficiently.

- An awkward experience I had was that I had to call a client on the phone in front of the manager and had to talk to them about filling out a survey regarding their fleet of aircraft. I was initially nervous because I was unsure of exactly what to say and what to expect, but when I actually made the call it went a lot better than I expected and I realized that the clients I am working with are ultimately just people; the client worked with me when I sounded confused and was very forgiving when I explained to her that I was just an intern.

- I learned that a big part of any business is building connections; although Acend only has a few full time employees that I know of, they have an expansive list of people who they have worked with in the past and would be willing to help them out.
