The first week of my internship was slow but very fun and helpful. The first week was mainly straightforward tasks. My colleagues and I were tasked with simple trash pickups around the facility, Inventory checks of company materials, and organization of the products of the teams at the edge.
The work environment is very casual. There is no dress-code to the edge. It is advised to wear a sweatshirt as the rink can be a bit chilly. This is also what I enjoy a lot about my internship at the edge so far. There is an energy at the edge to work hard but have fun. I really enjoy that type of energy in a work environment. It allows me to enjoy my work along with learning a thing or two about keeping a business orderly and efficient.
This company provides ice time on rinks, products from the stores, and a variety of sports teams and memberships to join.
