The most challenging aspect of my internship has to be the constant organization and the need for precision and accuracy. My fellow interns and I are tasked with inventory checks and organization of the company materials which determine the budget for the next season. The weight of the responsibility makes this the most challenging aspect of my internship.

 

My manager, Michelle, has a very informal, but serious managing style. Dress code is casual and tardiness is sometimes acceptable. Although when it comes to the work, we are expected to buckle down and finish the task given in the time frame given to do it.

 

One new thing I learned about The Edge is the large spectrum in which they run their business. Just this week I learned that there are hockey tournament organizers that pay the edge to use their facility.
