I have learned how difficult it is to run a sports arena. This internship has helped to confirm to me that I would prefer not to work in sports management but in the strength and conditioning, physical therapy and sports medicine sides of athleticism. I am less interested in the logistics and business of sports. I want to use my own personal interest in working out to develop program routines that are enhancing and injury free to clients.

• Provide an internship tip for future interns

My tip for future interns is two-fold: first, check out different internship possibilities before you choose one. Ask questions about what you will be doing before you choose. Once you have your internship, my second tip of advice is to check in with your boss frequently even for the most mundane tasks because every boss has a way that he or she wants the job done. Last tip is to always ask what else you can do to help out.
