The most challenging task so far had to be editing the special appeal video. I took up the task of splicing together quick video featuring the current state of the buildings renovation, highlights from programming and their temporary space near West Concord. The video was shown at the Artrageous fundraising event to help raise of $20'000. I enjoyed the task and made sure that the video was exactly what the Umbrella staff wanted.

My supervisor is a fairly relaxed and friendly person who guides me through tasks and keeps me in the loop on current happenings in the development department.

I have learned that the people behind this organization truly care about what they do! They are a non-profit with a community focus. That is not to be taken for granted and I am proud to intern for them.
