Week 2 I became more familiarized with Grant Research and added to the Grant Research document. I used the Grant Research Database at the Natick Library to find foundations that would be interested in funding Second Chance Cars, and the process of applying to them. I created an elaborate spreadsheet that included necessary information like the Foundation name, contact Info, applicant info, and why their mission aligns with ours. It is challenging work and research but also rewarding because it is very important in order to launch. I also created a survey designed for high school seniors to answer in order to evaluate the market potential of car donations in my class.
I also presented in front of the Second Chance Cars board my findings, along with the survey I created and the plan of action to ensure that people answer it. This helped me work on my presentation skills and public speaking.
