I have learned many things from my internship. First and foremost, holding myself accountable was key since I didn't have set hours/ locations to get my work done, I had to structure my own time to get my daily/weekly tasks done. It has taught me that there is set start and finish to tasks

because there is always more to improve and expand on. I have learned valuable skills such as time management, public speaking, and grant research. I would encourage interns to branch out and try something completely unfamiliar to them because the more comfortable you can become with something outside of your comfort zone, the more well rounded you will become.
