My internship has taught me many things about myself and a career if I'm going into a computer science job. One of the biggest things is that there is so much flexibility in this field. Unlike a day job, the hours aren't set and as long as I got the job done before the due date I essentially had the freedom to do whatever with my time. I learned that I do pretty well under these conditions because it gives me a motivation to work hard and finish early and not to procrastinate.

One tip for future interns is to ask for help when needed especially at the beginning of the internship or your internship is more technical and it is hard to get up to speed.
