Week Two

This week I settled into my regular work schedule of around 4 hours a day on weekdays. I do 20 hours a week and I spread it out pretty evenly but sometimes I'll do more on a certain day to get a lighter load on another. I do most of my hours within the timespan of what would be considered a normal workday, so I can reach my supervisor if I have a question. Doing the work during the day also has given structure to what might be pretty unproductive quarantine days.

I continued working on training data for the AI but I began to encounter a graphical error that would impede my work. It was a little frustrating at first, but I came to realize any obstacles I come across also count as progress, as it is part of my job to document them. The error persisted but I found workarounds and Its really not affecting my work that much.

A highlight of the week was learning more about the product I am helping to develop in a virtual reality setting. My supervisor had prepared 3D models of what the company is working on, which was great as I didn't get the chance to see it in person before the quarantine came into place. I think that VR learning environments are a really cool experience and I hope they become more widely used in the future.
