- The most important lesson learned from working at The Edge from a personal perspective was the value of completing the task assigned. Although this was something I had already understood on some level, actually failing a task and taking responsibility for it allowed me to grasp the same idea on a much deeper level. From the perspective of the industry, I learned that it's not all shooting jumpers and ball handling. The Edge is entirely sports-oriented, but almost nothing we did there dealt directly with the product they're selling. The lesson is more broad than that, though. I can imagine many fields with multiple layers to the job after interning here.

- My tip for future interns is to know what you've done. We thought about reaching for excuses on a few occasions, but at the end of the day, when we failed a task there was no one to blame but ourselves. We know what we did or didn't do and acted accordingly. Although even if you have an excuse I wouldn't recommend using it. That's life.
