The most challenging part of my internship so far is the physical toll it takes on my body. We work long days and the majority of the work I am doing is manual labor or involves carrying heavy equipment around, such as a leaf blower, for long periods of time. Dealing with getting up early and being sore has been the most difficult part so far. My supervisor is pretty laid back in terms of how he goes about dealing with when I make a mistake. He won't get angry he will just tell me what I did wrong so I can do it right next time. The majority of the time he likes to stay focused and on task. One new thing I have learned so far about the landscaping industry is how many different pieces of equipment there are and how expensive all of it is. There are very specific tools for very specific jobs that most people would never think existed but that are actually very useful.
