The most important thing I have learned about myself from this internship is that I can learn many different and new skills quickly. In terms of what I have learned about landscaping as an industry, the thing I have noticed most is that there are two very distinct levels of workers. Younger or less experienced workers tend to do more manual labor and use simpler tools while more experienced workers use big equipment that requires less physical exhaustion. If I could offer a tip to a future intern it would be to find a boss that is willing to teach you to use more of the equipment and make sure you have the right clothing to work comfortably.
