My second week working at Fitness Together has been great. So far the most challenging aspect of the job is reading the different clients. Personally, whenever I workout I like to go extremely hard. It was interesting to learn, through shadowing different trainers, that their goal is to improve their clients health, but at the same time they want them to return. They explained to me that not everyone wants a workout that will completely drain them, and it is their job to understand their client and make them want to return. My supervisors management style is just as I expected: extremely organized and thought out. My supervisor has an organized schedule that he follows everyday which helps him prioritize his time. the most important thing I have learned so far is that organization is key. Organization helps you plan out your present and future days, and it makes the job easier for you.
