I accomplished a lot during this week at Fitness Together. I learned a lot more about the nutrition side to everything. I learned what types of food you need to eat in order to gain muscle, and what types of food you need to eat in order to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time. It is amazing to see the nutrition programs these trainers put together for their clients. An awkward situation that I have had to overcome is creating conversation before clients go into their workout. Some people want to have a long conversation and others want to be left alone. My internship is definitely changing my interpretation of what it takes to be a personal trainer. There is a lot more that goes into it then I thought, and I did not realize the amount of work each trainer does for their individual clients.
