Week 4 went very well. I think the most satisfying thing about this internship is when I finish all the testing routines for a file and upload them to the main site. After a few days of going through and writing the tests and finding many bugs its satisfying to get it to a point were everything just works as intended. There really aren't too many stressful situations about this internship. The only thing that comes to mind is when I genuinely get stuck on trying to do something. The way I handle that is I leave it as is and come back to it later to work on it with a fresh mind or with my internship supervisor. I think the biggest skill I've learned over this internship is being able to use github and being able to pick up large coding frameworks. Most professional jobs that involve coding have huge programs and you can't possibly read every line of code. Instead you have to figure out how it works through recognizing patterns and struggling through writing your first few lines of code on your own. It definitely took me a while to become familiar with the MassEnergize api but now that I have I feel much more confident in my ability to pickup other large bits of code in the future.
