This week at my internship, I accomplished a lot of different things. The biggest thing we accomplished this week was setting up a website for the hockey league we are running. Using WordPress, a website designer similar to Wix, we were able to produce a solid sign up page, as well as program a way for us to be notified each time someone signs up. We had 15 people sign up within the first day of the website thanks to a solid promo idea created by Jack and I.

One of the more awkward situations that occurred during our internship was when we ate all the snacks in the office, and our boss was left with the worse quality snacks when he got hungry. It was kind of awkward to finish a full box of fruit snacks in two days but thankfully our boss was understanding and did not take it personally.

Our internship has provided me with a great understanding of what it is like to run a business. Getting people to buy into your product is a lot harder than it may seem. Selling someone on something is one thing, but getting them to go to the website and fill out the credit card is a whole other issue.
