Week 2

I would describe my supervisor's style as fairly laid back and supportive. At the beginning of every day, we go over tasks we have to do, and after that, we accomplish everything we can in the time we have. I have never seen anybody at the farm become seriously flustered or anxious over something not going exactly to plan, which is a nice change from the school environment. Every task that we complete is an accomplishment, not a checkbox in the race against the clock.

The most difficult aspect of this for me so far has been getting into a good morning routine. After a year of relatively flexible wake-up times due to online learning, it's been a bit of a shock to the system to get up early every morning!
