Week 4

This week we did a lot more bed prep in one final push to get everything remaining planted. We did a lot of fertilizing, composting, tilthing, and planting. The tilthing was the most rewarding activity (the tilther is essentially a large rotating shaft with blades connected to a power drill, and it mixes topsoil with fertilizer and compost) as it is the final step in preparing a bed before it is planted and it really transforms the look of the bed, making it a nice uniform line of dirt ready to feed healthy plants.
