During the week I performed a variety of tasks that was needed from me for the company I was working for. One of the tasks was helping with making window frames with wood. I was asked to help put together the pieces of wood and make sure the sizes were the correct size. I also had to glue them together and make sure they stuck together. Another task I had to do was help take off shingles on a part of the house. Once I did that, I had to put insulation inside the part of the roof. The last task I had to do this week was also help smooth out the pieces of the wjndow frames before they were ready to put together. The work environment at my job site was very casual. During the week, I wore sweatpants and a sweatshirt. I had to wear work boots as well. The atmoshphere was very laid back and the people I was working with were very friendly and helpful during the week. I liked that I was able to help build parts of a house and it was interesting to see the specific jobs needed in order to work on a house. I also liked the people I worked with and how they were very friendly to me. The service the company I am interning for builds and remodels homes.
