The most challenging aspect of the internship so far is the project we are currently working on. We are creating a summer hockey league for players 17-22, which we hope will serve as a precursor to the current leagues offered by StinkySocks Hockey.
Pete is a very informal guy. He lets Jeff and I do stuff on our own and be creative with our ideas. He doesn't shoot our ideas down, he prefers we figure out solutions on our own.
I actually had never known about StinkySocks Hockey before I started working here, but they are a very unique company and I have enjoyed my time working with them. I have learned a lot about how to run a business, very specifically a business that requires a lot of planning and communication with customers every day.
