Week 2

This week we started unpacking and settling in all the horses. It is harder than you would think as there is a lot of logistics and organizing going into it. Otherwise, we built a new pen, set up jump courses and ridden a lot of horses. In the equine industry, it is important that there is good management so that everyone, including horses and people, feels happy to work. This week I learned a lot about nutrition for the horses so they feel healthy and can perform their job as good as possible. When traveling it is important that we keep an eye on the horse's digestion, therefore, their nutrients and supplements might change.

This week I've learned a lot and I'm really excited to get back!
