My first week at Emerson Hospital was one I cannot describe in words. It was overwhelming yet amazing all at the same time. During this week I went into rooms with nurses and doctors and was just watching and understanding how to treat the patients. Patient care is one of the most important things about being a nurse, making them feel comfortable even when they are in the most pain which is a main priority. I am so grateful to be able to work with such amazing and passionate people which is something I love. You can really tell that everyone who works there has a connection with ever patient. I am in the wound care department at Emerson and the main goal is to help the patients heal!
