One of the most challenging thing about working at Emerson is making the patient feel comfortable with you and trying to make a connection bonded with trust. I realized that working in a hospital is not all about healing or making the patient feel better but forming important patient care bonds. The environment in the hospital consists of checking people in and going in first thing to check their vitals and ask important health questions. The goal is to make them feel better and have it go by as quick and productive as possible.
