This week, I stayed an hour after my shift, waiting for a colorist to arrive at work. I then sat in with him, watching him work and asking him questions as he colored on a new show called "Defending Jacob". It stars Chris Evans (Captain America) and is directed by Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game, Passengers). It made me appreciate the nuances they go to tweak things like a certain color hue in the image by as little as 2% darker or lighter.

A difficult situation was when my supervisor had to leave for this week for surgery. During several of my shifts, I was alone to manage all the internship and some of my supervisor's roles. It was tough to juggle multiple hats, but by the end of the day, everything was well.

If anything, working here has made me more excited to move out to LA and pursue my dreams as a film director. Seeing all the creativity motivates me to do the same.
