The best part of my internship was the flexibility of it. Like an adult, I was able to choose what I wanted to do with my time--whether that be helping others, sitting in a client session, or work on my own projects (trailer competition). The location is also very ideal. The same building houses a casting company, a sound mix company, and a VFX company--all for films and commercials. I would say that a downside would be the commute. It is an hour each way from Concord to Boston and at least $13 a day with student pricing.

In my resume, I can now add this position and include skills such as office management or assisting in work clients.

My experience at Finish will affect my long-term goals in many ways. When I move to LA and live with roommates, cleanliness, organization, and communication will be key. I feel that the skills I took from this internship will greatly impact my ability in basic living. It will also help me feel more confident in taking assistant jobs in LA and work my way up from there. :)
