Challenges?

A challenge that I came across was not knowing what some of the labels looked like on the images. For example, I wasn't sure if I was looking at a thrombus or a bloody spot and I wasn't completely sure if I knew what a thrombus even looked like. Instead of wasting more time on debating if I was labeling the images correct I sent screenshots and asked question through a messaging system called "Slack". Zach was able to respond quickly and thoroughly to help me label the images correctly. Another challenge I encountered was uploading my completed files to a folder. I accidentally uploaded 2 files to the wrong folder, but I was able to catch my mistake a day later and told Giovanni. He was really nice about it and told me it could be reset easily. What I learned was to read the directions more carefully.

Style?

My supervisor's management style is formal. There is strong communication and I am not afraid to ask questions often. I usually ask my questions through slack because it's easier than walking to their cubical and the office is quiet and focused.

I also understand the project I am working on more clearly. At first I was confused why the all the images looked very similar at the end of each video in all the files and I learned it was because the camera was being pulled back into it's guide catheter while causes the lumen shape to be consistent and distinct.
