During the fourth week of my internship, the most rewarding activity I performed was actually finding reasons to buy a large commercial building in Maynard. Through research, phone calls, and actually taking a tour of the building, I came to the conclusion that we should not get involved in bidding for the building because it is not worth what they want to sell it for.
Throughout the course of my internship, I have not been involved in very many stressful situations. As far as I can tell, It is a fairly laid back business because I have yet to see my manager or anyone in the office stressed.
I think I would be successful in this industry because I have had experience determining whether a building is worth purchasing or not. I also understand what makes a building worth a lot and what makes a building worth nothing.
