Week Two

This Weeks Prompts:

To date, what has been the most challenging aspect of your internship?

Since the last two weeks I have found that the most challenging aspect of my internship is managing my work load. I have been given several heavy projects to juggle. I love the responsibility and the expectations these women have for me, but I am afraid I am doing it all wrong! Luckily I have been getting daily feedback regarding the work I am doing from my mentor.

My mentors management style is very laid back. We come in in the morning, and start our days with a coffee and a chat. I love the women I am working with. We are all getting very important tasks completed, while still being able to talk casually in the work place.

One new thing I realized about the company this week was the amount of contributors that have put time into building these programs we are working on for the company. It is really great seeing the time and the effort people have dedicated to kickstarting such a powerful message that this company is attempting to understand.
