Today marks the end of my first week at Brown Aviation Lease. During my time so far, I have been testing a website for their (soon to be live) drone insurance. I would create an account and select a number of insurance options to make sure the information and pricing I was given was accurate. This would all get plugged into a spreadsheet so that the data can be properly analyzed to make sure the website was functioning properly. In terms of attire and the setting, it is a very relaxed environment with casual clothes being the expected apparel. The two people who have primarily overseen my work are Jason and Will, who have been great advisers and are easy to talk to and cooperate with. The company Brown Aviation, leases out aircraft to flight schools and pilots, but they have a subsection for drone insurance known as Acend, which is where most of my efforts have been focused on so far.
