My name is Gustavo Raimundo, and I am a senior at Concord-Carlisle High School. After graduating, I intend to pursue a career in the Mechanical Engineering field, and for this reason, I will be attending Umass Lowell.
For this last quarter in my high school career, I decided to partake in an internship at 621 Energy. This is a Massachusetts-based company that builds, owns, operates, and services solar photovoltaic systems for businesses and nonprofit organizations. The company’s goal is to reduce carbon footprints and energy costs for its customers. By participating in this internship, I will gain necessary experience in engineering and learn more about this field that has been in constant growth for the past years and that will only become more essential as we turn to new, more environmentally-friendly, sources of energy.
