Week One (Covid-19):
I did not expect my internship and the end of my senior year to go this way, but under the circumstances, we have to do what we can. For the past week, I have been waking up around 7 A.M. and taking classes on photovoltaic systems. During these classes, I have been learning a lot about solar power and how all the components and the whole system works, and for most of the time, it has been really fun and interesting. Additionally to the classes, I have been having weekly meetings with Mr. Clarke (the person running the internship) to go over the company’s plans for the week, and also go over what I will be doing. Soon enough, I will be assigned job sites to monitor and take care. I hope I am able to visit these sites in the future so that I can get the full experience of the internship and also use all the knowledge that I have acquired.
