What I liked most about my internship at Second Chance Cars was getting to learn more about the behind the scenes of the organization, and getting to learn more about the application process, and seeing cars be awarded. And a part I didn't like as much was going to the post office, and after a while I began to feel like detailing cars was very repetitive, but it was still satisfying to see the difference in a car after washing, buffing, and polishing. Some new skills I can add to a resume as a result of my internship are washing, buffing, and polishing cars, as well as data entry and video editing. My internship not only taught me about what its like to run a nonprofit, but it also showed me how my strengths and weaknesses as a person match up in a professional environment.Through my time as an intern, I have learned what aspects I must work on, and what type of situations I thrive in. This newfound knowledge of myself will greatly impact my academic and longterm future, and goals.
