During my first week of interning I made the decision to change internship locations.  This was because I was interested in interning at a school with older kids (since I had previously chosen to intern at a preschool called Little Sprouts, which has children 3 months to 4 years).  Since I only went to two full days at the preschool there is not a ton to report about.  Although it did teach me some guidelines, such as you must wear clothes that can get dirty.  Kids of all ages often use glue, paints, and markers that can get everywhere, and therefor I learned to wear clothes that can get a little messy.  I learned that one of the most important things was keeping the classroom clean.  Kids tend to make huge messes, therefore I was often cleaning tables, washing counters, picking up items etc.  I am a really scheduled person, and I really enjoy my time working 9-1 everyday.  I feel like it prepares me for the real world, since I intern in the morning and work my separate job in the afternoons.  Overall the two days at the preschool was super interesting and informative, but I am a lot happier now that I am placed at a location that better correlates with my interests in the future.
