“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” - Eleanor Roosevelt

I learned so much through this experience. I grew to realize and appreciate the uniqueness of the city of Boston. I was able to serve communities and learn about the power of a single story. I made connections to strangers everyday. Most importantly, I grew in confidence in myself through this "real world" experience. I was able to break out of the cocoon of Concord. This internship caused me to live in a political world and realize the pros and cons of it. I am so appreciative of all Jaianah, Malaika, Annissa, Karen and Jess taught me. I am excited to use all that I learned from these past six weeks for future experiences.
