This internship has taught me so much about working in an office environment, about working on projects with others, how to publish sites and how to manage auction pages. I learned about a different side of medicine than what I have worked with in the past. I saw the support and education/prevention side, instead of the treatment side. What was incredibly interesting for me was to see that a carer in health ranges from office jobs like this to hands-on hospital jobs. It showed me the variation in Health careers.
If I was to give a tip to those doing the internship next year, I would say to always say good morning when you first see everyone in the office and say goodbye at the end of the day. I try and greet and talk to each of my co-workers and not only do I learn more about them, it gets easier to talk to them and ask questions and bring more ideas up.
