The first week of my internship went very well. I started off the week familiarizing myself with the base and labs within it, as well as going through lots of security paperwork. In addition to that, I started to work on my own and with my supervisor to learn about Heat Transfer and how to determine the amount of heat transfer with physics equations, so that I would have all the knowledge that I would need to work on the projects in the lab. I finished the week testing the resistivity of a certain material that is being used in an ongoing research project. Eventually, measuring the resistivity of this material will be my job to do every Friday.
