Week 4

This week at my internship I spent on my own for the most part while my supervisor was visiting his family. After learning about how to use the Guarding Ring Hot Plate last week, I spent this week taking measurements with it. I ran three different types of materials; Thermoflect Metallic, Thermoflect Fabric, and Cotton Nylon. The goal for taking these measurements is to determine the CLO value (which is basically the insulative value). These tests took me just about the whole day to complete for each material. My next step was to put the data that I collected on to a CD and then on to my computer and send to my supervisor so that we could analyze the data more.
