This week was especially interesting because my supervisor took me to visit another studio where she also teaches. This experience was really cool because this studio was very different from the studio I have been working for my internship. It was a much larger franchise and in a bigger building---it offered dozens of different fitness classes. The owner was even in the process of expanding the studio and was currently looking for a business partner. Because of this, I learned a lot more about the business aspect of things, which is what I was really looking for going into this internship.

In summary, this internship has taught me a lot about myself and what I would like to do in the future. Although I am really interested in dance, yoga, fitness, and a healthy lifestyle, I don't think that this particular field is something I would like to pursue in my own career. I've found that I really enjoy participating in these kinds of classes and enjoy them and their benefits, but overall, I do not find the work that goes into the 'behind-the-scenes' very fulfilling. Nonetheless, I have truly enjoyed this internship and the people I have met through it, and I am very grateful for this experience and all that I have learned.

The advice I would give to future interns would be to look into multiple internships before finally deciding on one---don't just go with the first opportunity that comes up. This way, you can weigh your options and be more confident that you are working somewhere that you are genuinely excited and curious about.
