My favorite part of my internship was interacting with the people at Commodore. They all we extremely welcoming and helpful when it came to answering all of my questions. My least favorite part was all of the waiting when performing certain tasks. It takes forever to open certain files for building models and sometimes I spent almost 30 minutes just waiting for models to properly load.

I can now add a lot of skills involving applications like NavisWorks, Revit, and AutoCAD to my resume. Although I can't completely use them, I understand their fundamental functions and can perform many tasks using them as well.

Long term I believe this internship will help me out tremendously. It is my first experience working in a real world setting and has given me a lot of insight into what I want to do in the future. My resolve to become a mechanical engineer has strengthened and I am now open to a career in the Construction Industry as well.
