I met with medical doctors and chair members of the Boys & Girls Club to prepare for our Social & Economic Implications of Vaccinations, Virtual informational session about COVID-19 that will be taking place on June 9th. I continued to organize my materials for my community outreach project for the end of my internship!
So far, my research, networking, and time-management skills have been enhanced. Working independently has allowed me to focus on gathering and organizing information on my own and preparing a project that I will be presenting on my own. My project will allow me to gain public speaking skills and more comfortability with igniting uncomfortable and important conversations.
