My favorite part of my internship was networking and meeting different people in the public health and medical field that I can connect with in the future. My least favorite part was it being virtual and having to choose just one community to do outreach project for and how difficult it is to encourage close-minded people about getting the vaccine.

I gained public speaking, communication, research, time-management, and presentation skills that I can continue using in college and my future work career as a nurse and healthcare advocate.
