Once I first get to work, I open the store to start with on Monday. As soon as I get through the back, I open the front door and make sure that it is unlocked. Then I take the newspapers that were delivered around 4:30 in the morning to the front of the door and put them on the lottery counter. Once I do that, I mark off the number of newspapers that we received - which is usually more than what we paid for.  Another task that I try to complete before I start actually working by myself, is to make sure we have enough inventory for the day ahead. Once I do that I can turn the lights on and the lottery machine to start the day. Those are the starting tasks that I complete to make sure everything runs smoothly. The work environment is casual, wear whatever I want. The company provides a lot of different services, such as souvenirs, daily needs for example a drink, gum, or caffeine.
