My internship has taught me a lot about learning how to run a business and how to handle pressure situations along with a whole lot of things. I would say the main thing that I took away from this experience working for my dad with opening up a shop and closing at the end of the day is more the responsibility of it. I think it is important that kids my age or even younger can have the responsibility of opening up a business and being your own boss for several days of the week. Tips I would give to future interns of this program is that you should ask whoever you are working for to get more opportunities to take on bigger responsibilities and do whatever you can to learn more about what you are doing inside and outside the business itself.
