My most challenging part of learning more about my job is learning how to break shifts. After I complete my sift I need to make sure that I have enough money in the lottery counter, and in the back, just in case a customer comes in with a big lottery winner. So after every shift, I need to count how much money we brought in and if I owe anything into the envelope where we keep $1500 in. The only way that we owe is if a customer comes in with a large winner and I don't have enough in the lottery counter at the moment. I mainly work alone when I am working so the only thing that I am told to do is to make sure that I am filling things that are not filled at the time, such as a lottery book or t-shirts, sweatshirts. I learned to be on time, making sure that you are aware of your surroundings with customers, and be as professional as possible in every situation.
